Dr. Tom Kopatich is from the Shawnee area and has lived here his whole life. Tom grew up playing baseball and basketball and always had an interest in sports performance and rehab. He later went on to receive a degree in human biology from Kansas State University. At KSU, he shadowed different doctors and liked the idea of conservative care for musculoskeletal conditions. He liked the idea that chiropractors play such an important role in patients’ overall health and also do more than adjust.
Dr. Kopatich then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, KS. While attending CUKC, he attended lots of seminars and was vice president for the Rehab 2 Performance club that would teach students every week on how to incorporate rehabilitation and manual therapy for the best overall patient results. Before graduating, Tom completed a preceptorship in St. Louis which allowed him to gain some experience before returning to the Kansas City area.
