Dr. Dan McGaugh grew up in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, where he spent his time playing baseball, soccer, and exploring the outdoors. He earned his Biomedical Sciences degree from Northwest Missouri State University, graduating magna cum laude through a 3:1 program that fast-tracked him into his doctorate.
He then attended Logan Chiropractic College, again graduating magna cum laude. While at Logan, Dr. Dan served as a tutor and held executive roles with the Student American Chiropractic Association and Forward Thinking Chiropractic Alliance—advocating for evidence-based care and even lobbying in Washington, DC. He also gained hands-on experience providing care at a federally qualified health center serving low-income patients. Certifications and Techniques:
His passion for the musculoskeletal system started early, inspired by watching family members struggle with pain and wanting to help others that might be going through a similar situation. When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Dan is usually outdoors—hiking, fishing, hunting, traveling, or capturing moments through photography. A national park enthusiast, he’s explored 18 parks with volcanoes, deserts, cliffs, mountains, and forests. He loves spending time with his fiancée Scarlett and their dog, Petunia. |
