Therese Finan, DC
Dr. Therese Finan is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2006 with dual degrees in Nutrition/Exercise Sciences and Athletic Training. She went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, graduating in December 2010.
Dr. Therese began her professional journey as the founder of Finan Chiropractic, where she established a strong reputation for clinical excellence, compassionate care, and a results-driven approach. Building on that foundation, she is now the founding owner of KC Chiro, where she continues to lead with the same commitment to quality care, innovation, and community connection. She is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Kansas Chiropractic Association. Her dedication and leadership have earned her several honors, including the American Chiropractic Association Outstanding Service Award, the ACA Excellence in Leadership Award, and the Presidential Commendation Award from the Kansas Chiropractic Association. Dr. Therese is deeply committed to identifying and addressing the root cause of pain and dysfunction. She specializes in conservative care and functional movement therapies, including Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) and dry needling. In addition to her chiropractic education, she holds certifications in Rock Tape, the McKenzie Method, Activator Methods, Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), and Flexion/Distraction. She collaborates closely with a trusted network of healthcare professionals to ensure her patients receive the highest quality care, even when another approach may be more appropriate for their condition. Outside the clinic, Dr. Therese cherishes time with her husband, TJ, who is a dedicated special education teacher at St. James Academy and also serves as a Varsity baseball coach at Mill Valley High School. Together, they stay busy raising their four children. Her daughters—McKinley, Cecelia, and Madeline—share a strong passion for sports and are actively involved in volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Her youngest, Jameson, has an adventurous spirit and a deep love for anything outdoors. Whether it's cheering on her kids from the sidelines, exploring nature with her family, or supporting her husband’s work in education and athletics, Dr. Therese embraces family life with the same energy and heart she brings to her practice. |
